Dallas/Fort Worth For our Texas Waiting Children/CPS Adoption program, we are currently accepting applications for families open to adopting: For our Domestic Infant Adoption program, we are looking for families who are willing to maintain an open relationship with a child’s birth family. May 11, 2011 Update: Buckner Children and Family Services in Dallas is temporarily suspending receiving applications for its domestic infant adoption program. Buckner is still actively seeking applications for its adoption program in other locations in Texas. This temporary suspension is being re-evaluated in six months. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of service to each and every family and we have reached capacity at this time. We are, however, still actively recruiting families who are open to adopting through our Foster-to-Adopt program as well as our Waiting Texas Children program.
